New World Wine Awards 2017

Entries are open for this year's New World Wine Awards to be judged in Wellington on 31 July and 1 & 2 August. 

The competition is chaired by Jim Harré with some of the country's top wine judges joined by a guest international judge, Meg Brodtmann MW, a senior winemaker for Helen & Joey Estate in the Yarra Valley, Australia.

This is one of the most important and influential wine shows in New Zealand, with a strong focus on affordability and availability.

Entries to the New World Wine Awards close on Friday, 23 June.

Negociants New Zealand’s 2017 Fine Wine Tour includes at least 25 wineries from New Zealand and Australia offering over 100 wines available to sample. Four cities, from 24th to 27th July; trade-only sessions in the afternoons and public tastings in the evenings.

New Zealand International Wine Show 2017

Entries are open for New Zealand's largest wine competition. Chaired by Bob Campbell MW, the judging will be held in Auckland from 18 -20 September.

At the awards dinner, a new 'Legend of New Zealand Wine' will receive the prestigious Sir George Fistonich medal.
